Attention Juniors and Seniors:  We will be selecting Prom Court soon.  Please let Mrs. Lagle know if you DO NOT want to be considered for Prom Court TODAY.

 

Environmental Science students are hosting a mural competition to put student artwork on the halls of Blue Ridge High School. Each piece of artwork will be displayed proudly in the commons during lunch today through TODAY. Each cent that you donate counts as a vote for your favorite mural. Check your pockets, your couch cushions, and your wallets for coins or bills to use as votes. The winner will be announced TOMORROW. Any money collected will be donated to the local farmer’s market to support sustainable living.

TODAY is the St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Costume Contest!  Vote during lunch on the counseling google classroom!  Vote by 2pm and the winner will be announced by the end of the school day The first place winner will receive a $40 cash prize, and the title of Head Leprechaun for the remainder of the school year. 2nd place will receive a Subway gift card.    

 

The VFW Auxiliary is collecting entries for the 2-D Art and 3-D Art Patriotic Art Contest.  Deadline for submission is April 2.  Please see the office for entry forms.  Monetary and scholarship prizes available.

 

Day Camp Leaders are needed this summer at Allerton Park in Monticello.  You must be 16 and have a valid driver’s license to apply.  Forms are in the office.

 

The Farmer City pool is looking for workers this summer.  Applications are in the office and should be returned to City Hall soon.

 

Weather permitting today, Baseball plays tonight at Cumberland @ 4:30.  Release time for Baseball is 2:10 and JV Softball plays at Calvary at 4:30 with release time for JV Softball at 3pm.
