At the end of 6th period starting today and everyday moving forward we will be having club pictures taken at 1:30. All Student Council members, please report to the old gym for the picture when called down.
Good luck to the Blue Ridge FFA as their District 4 Parliamentary Procedure and Conduct of meetings teams compete tonight at Richland College.
It’s been a busy few days for the Varsity Lady Knights softball team. Friday started with a loss to conference rival Cumberland. Team had 9 hits scoring 8 runs with a home run by Ellie Schlieper who also had a triple on the day and earned 2 RBIs. Lily Enger went 2-3 knocking in 3 runs and Cassie Zimmerman went 1-4 knocking in 2 RBIs.
Saturday they went on to play Georgetown winning 2 games, 11-8 and 11-9. In the first game Cassie Zimmerman had a two run home run along with a double and triple earning 3 RBIs, Addison Roos went 3-5 locking in 4 RBIs. In the second game Lily Summers went 2-2 knocking in 3 RBIs with a triple and double while Karlee Fenton 1-2 knocking in 2 RBIs.
Last night the team lost to conference rival Argenta-Oreana. Addison Roos and Ellie Schlieper each collected one hit for Blue Ridge Varsity Knights. Wednesday they take on Martinsville at home, Thursday Tri-county at home and finishing Friday at Calvary in Bloomington.
