Good Morning Blue Ridge!  Here are your daily announcements….

Congratulations to Josh Berkler and Mya Laidley for being recognized at the BACC Honors Night last night. Mya was awarded the Justin Gale Memorial Hustle and Hard Work Award and Josh was selected as the BACC EMT Student of the Year. 

 

Club and Organization group pictures will be taken next week at the end of 7th and 8th hours. A schedule will be sent to teachers by the end of this week. Listen for more details and make sure you're ready to represent your group!

 

Blue Ridge took first place overall in Love for the Arts on last Friday with 9 ribbon winners at Eastern IL University.  The ribbon winners were: Ivy Whitehouse, Rachel Light, Dylan Pritchett, Payton Heiser, Jasmine Brown, Renn Light, Jasmine Petmecky with 2 ribbons, and Kaleb Forrest won BEST IN SHOW his ceramic piece Card box Card box. Way to

Seniors, if you do not return your library books in by Monday, May 5th you will be charged for the book.  If you have lost that book, you will be charged for it and you must pay for it by cash after May 1st to the library. As of today, all senior fees and fines paid to the office will only be accepted in cash.

 

Juniors and Seniors, please go to google classroom and fill out the survey for post prom.  

 

Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors, library books need to be returned to the library by the end of the day on Monday, May 5th.  If you cannot find your book, or need it past this date come see Mrs. Raines in the library.

 

Maxwell Counters is looking for an administrative assistant to help with projects, process orders and help answer inquiries.  Pay is approximately $18 an hour.  See Ms. Thacker for details. 

 Who will be our 2025 Prom King and Queen?  Be sure and check google classroom and vote for Prom King and Queen.  TODAY is the last day to vote! 

This year's Prom theme is Golden Hour

We're excited for a fun-filled night, and we have a $2 photo booth available at prom—no form needed!

 Saturday, May 3rd is the big day!

 Promenade & Coronation begin at 5:00 PM in the big gym.

 Prom is from 8:00–11:00 PM at The Feed Mill on Front in Fisher.

 Post Prom will be held at BRHS from 11:30 PM – 2:30 AM.

Arrival & Parking Info for Promenade:

• Students should park in the front of the school or the North parking lot, Faculty parking area, and enter through the circle drive entrance.

• The public should park behind the school and enter through the back gym entrance.

 Students should arrive between 4:15–4:30 PM to take pictures outside. Then head to the Commons by 4:45 PM to line up for Promenade.

Attention Prom court:  Coronation practice with prom court and the junior attendants will be on Friday at 2:45pm in the new gym.

 

Today's boys and girls track meet at Argenta-Oreana has been cancelled.  Girls will have practice until 4:20 pm and the boys will practice after school.

The girls Softball team plays tonight at home, weather permitting vs. Okaw Valley.  Stay tuned for further updates!

The lunch menu for today is Chicken Alfredo with Garlic Bread
