Here are your daily student announcements:
Attention Seniors! Remember to keep selling mums for your senior fundraiser until September 2nd. All forms are due on September 3rd. If you need the sales sheets, they are available in the office.
Senior parking spot maps are to the office by noon on this Thursday, 8/28.
Today is a Student Council meeting during lunch in the library! Please plan to attend!
There will be a drama club meeting during lunch this Wednesday in room 210 (Mrs. Friel's room, across from the upstairs bathrooms) - if you are interested in theatre. We hope to see you there!
Wednesday is the annual FFA Night at 6:30pm in the Commons. Hotdogs and Hamburgers will be provided. Please bring a side or drink to share. This is open to all students enrolled in an Ag Class.
Thursday will be the first STEM Club meeting in the chemistry room. See Mr. Scurlock, Mrs. Schriefer or Mr. Avella for questions.
Dungeons and Dragons club will be having its first meeting after school Thursday this week 3:30-5:30. If you haven't played before and are curious about how Dungeons and Dragons works, stop by Wednesday after school for a small info/how to meeting. All are welcome! Join us for adventures after school Thursday this week!
Auditions for the fall play will be this Thursday and Friday from 3:45-6:00 in the high school library. You do not need any experience to join in the madness. Come whenever you can - before or after practices is fine! If you want to be involved but can't make it to either day talk to Miss Yeagle or send her an email at syeagle@blueridge18.org. If you want to do behind the scene things like tech, hair & makeup, help with props, costumes, curtains or stage crew please come to auditions and sign up! It's going to be an amazing season!!!!
Thrive will start meeting at lunch starting next Thursday September 4th in the art room. Come join for community and encouragement to get you through your day! Lunch will be provided.
In Homecoming news, Homecoming week will now be starting on Sunday, October 12th with Homecoming King and Queen Coronation. You’ll be able to build floats starting Oct. 11th and finish on October 15th just in time for the parade on October 17th, class games in the afternoon and football game that evening finishing the week with the Homecoming Dance on October 18th. More about the week will be coming up soon! As a reminder, there is no school on October 10th or October 13th. If you do not want to be considered for your class attendant for homecoming or King or Queen, please let Mrs. Hardesty know in the office by September 15th.
The Golf team heads to Tuscola today, leaving at 11:00. Good Luck Knights!
