Here are your daily announcements:
The Knight Buddies application is due TODAY! To apply to be a Buddy, see the post in the Counseling Google Classroom.
Don’t forget to vote for class attendants and Senior King/Queen for Homecoming in Google Classroom! You have until next Wednesday, 10/1 to vote. Winners will be announced on Thursday, 10/2.
The Class of 26 mums that were ordered will be delivered this Friday, September 26th!
The Blue Ridge scholastic bowl team will be a meeting Monday, October 29th during lunch in the senior hallway, right outside of Mr. Scurlock’s room at 12:30 pm. If you are interested in joining this highly competitive team, please come to the short meeting.
Thrive will meet TODAY during lunch in the art room. Lunch will be provided but feel free to bring your own lunch too and join us for some good community and conversation to help you Thrive!
Dungeons and Dragons club will meet TODAY after school in Mr. Minteer's room from 3:30 - 5 pm. Come join in the adventure!
Last night while FFA members were at the Chapter LTS Leadership Roundup, one of our members, Presley Hardesty, went to Decatur to compete in the Section 16 Ag Education event. In this event students have to create an ag lesson plan and any materials that go with it, take a test on Ag Education, teach a portion of their lesson to judges and students, and do a follow-up reflection on their teaching. In a very competitive event, Presley placed 4th overall receiving several compliments from the judges. Congratulations Presley!
The boys golf team is competing in the LPC tournament today at Woodlawn. Good Luck Knight Golfers!
The Lady Knights Volleyball team plays tonight at HOME starting at 5:30 with JV play verses Heritage High School. It’s Superhero night for the theme! Good Luck Lady Knights!
Also the Blue Ridge Soccer team plays away at Watseka tonight. Go Knights!
