BRHS Daily Announcements for Thursday, 10/16
It’s Homecoming week! Today is dress like your age day. Friday is Class colors and Anything but a backpack. There are some rules for Anything but a backpack like no dogs, no siblings, nothing big and you can easily bring up and down stairs. At 12:35 today and Friday, we’ll meet in the old gym and count for spirit points and then announce at the end of the day the standings. Be sure and get signed up for Fridays homecoming cheer games and sign ups are in your English classes so see Mrs Jones and Ms Lacy to get on the list.
Don’t forget about the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night from 7-9pm in the old gym. Please come in the Ag door behind the school. Admission is $3 for single and $5 per couple. The yearbook staff will be running a photo booth this Saturday at the dance! Snap a fun photo with your friends for just $1 each, or get it laminated with a magnet for only $2. Don’t miss out on a great keepsake from Homecoming 2025!

Also, Dungeons and Dragons club will not be meeting this week! We'll pick up our adventures next week Thursday after school!
The boosters club has been busy planning homecoming games and activities! On Friday October 17th, boosters will provide a hot dog lunch with chips, cookies, and a drink. Then we will host our homecoming games immediately after lunch. Be sure to get signed up in the office for Macho Volleyball, Powder Puff (flag) football, and Mr. and Mrs. Kool games. 4pm on Friday will be the parade, 6:30 the HOMECOMING football game vs. Meridian. The Lady Knights Volleyball team plays tonight at home against Arcola starting at 5:30pm. The theme for the night is Senior Citizen/Senior Night! Good Luck Ladies!
Picture retake day is next Friday, Oct. 24th! We will let you know if you need to get your picture taken.
The STEM Club is having their Spooktacular on Friday October 24th from 4:30 – 7:30pm. Tours start every ½ hour. They have a photo wall and coloring station and lots of activities while you are waiting. Come and check it out! Donations at the door is accepted.
