There will be Fun Friday in the library during lunch this week on Friday, March 6th.  Crystal Chambers will be teaching students how to crochet.  Yarn & hooks will be provided and students will be able to take them home.  Students who already crochet or knit are welcome to attend as well.

 

The high school Library will hold their annual used book sale will be next week  on Tuesday thru Thursday to students and staff throughout the day, and open to the public on Tuesday evening from 4-7pm, before and during the Fine Arts Expo. We have used books for all ages.  It's a great place to pick up extra books for you, your kids, or your classroom library.  All proceeds support the Blue Ridge School Libraries.

On Saturday at NAQT state the BRHS varsity scholastic bowl team went a respectable 6-5 on the day placing 9th out of 16 of the top small schools in the state.  Notable wins came against Princeton, Greenville and Northridge.  A special congrats to Indra Nolan for eclipsing her 1000th toss-up against St. Teresa in the 2nd match of the day!  Indra led the knights with 36 toss-ups followed by Elias Nolan with 21, Cooper Rausch with 9 and Ivy Whitehouse and Broden Soliday with 7 each.  Way to go BRHS scholastic bowl!
