Tuesday, March 10th

Seniors, please turn in your baby pictures/middle year pictures and senior pictures by April 1st to Mrs. Schriefer for the graduation slideshow.

The Fine Arts Show is TONIGHT.  We’ll showcase Art projects, class projects, Drama and Music at the high school and the Library will be open for the annual used book sale.

The Spring Sports pictures are TODAY after school.

Boys Track  - On track or in HS Gym - weather dependent @ 3:15(the boys track team gets released from class at 3:00 to get changed and get ready)

Girls Track  - On track or in HS Gym - Weather dependent @ 3:45

Softball  - at Softball field or in HS Gym - Weather dependent @ 4:15

Baseball  - at South Park or HS Gym - Weather Dependent @ 4:45

The high school Library will hold their annual used book sale TODAY thru Thursday to students and staff throughout the day, and open to the public on Tuesday evening from 4-7pm, before and during the Fine Arts Expo. We have used books for all ages. 

ATTENTION JUNIORS: There will be a prom planning meeting Wednesday morning at 8am in Schriefer's room.

Did you attend our library crochet program and get hooked?  Or, did you miss it but wanted to attend?  We're meeting one more time this Friday, March 13 in the library during lunch!  Come back and continue the project you started or come for the first time and start something new!  

Good luck to the BRHS Lady Knights Softball team!  Your first game of the year is Thursday, 3/12 at St. Teresa starting at 4:30pm.  Bus time is at 2:45 for the girls.  Go Knights!

Congrats to the Blue Ridge scholastic bowl team for winning the IHSA regionals last night in dramatic fashion!  After a bye round, the Knights faced very strong competition but defeated Maroa-Forsyth 450-380 then advanced to the championship match to defeat Warrensburg-Latham in a thriller in overtime by a score of 410-370 to capture the programs 7th IHSA regional in school history.  Leading the Knights in toss-ups was Indra Nolan with 13 followed by Elias Nolan with 7, Ivy Whitehouse with 3, Cooper Rausch with 2 and Broden Soliday with 1.  The knights are now 61-16 overall heading into the IHSA sectional on Saturday morning.  Go Knights!
