Friday Mr. Scurlock’s Science of Energy students represented our school at the University of Illinois High School Engineering Challenge, hosted by the Engineering Open House. Faced with a "blind" challenge, students had only 60 minutes to engineer a Mars rover designed for stability and water retention over complex, uneven terrain. We are thrilled to announce that Devin Wrestler, Addison Hinthorn, and Jakob Kristensen of team "Must’ve Been the Wind" won the overall competition! Their success is a testament to their problem-solving skills and dedication to the sciences. Congratulations to our winning team!"
