for Thursday, 10/22
If you are a senior band member, cheerleader or football player, please come to the office and get your senior profile paperwork for Senior night at the football game. The forms are due back to the office today.
Thrive will meet today at lunch in the Art room and Dungeons and Dragons club will meet today after school.
Come to the library during lunch this Friday, the 23rd for Halloween Crafts and more. We'll have several craft projects, scary ghost stories on the tv, and of course Candy!!
Picture retake day is this Friday! We’ll be letting you know if you need pictures or if you don’t like your pictures, bring them with you and get your picture re-taken on that day.
Good Luck to the Blue Ridge FFA as they will compete in the Model of Excellence presentation at the FFA Convention today. They will give their presentation this morning shortly after 10am..
Next week (10/26 through 10/30), the FFA is planning to conduct a food drive to help bolster supplies heading into the holiday season for the Salt Creek Resource Center. To help incentivize student participation, you will find an envelope in your school mailboxes that have passes for one free entrance to a BRHS Athletic Event. Students in your 1st hour class who donate 5 items for the food drive, will get a pass. Each student is eligible to get one pass (i.e. if they donate 20 items, they don't get 4 passes). Additionally, we are looking at doing a 1st hour challenge and the class with the most items donated will get donuts.
There will be a Boys Basketball parent and player meeting next Tuesday, October 27th @ 5pm in the commons.
Plan on dressing up for Halloween on Friday, Oct.30th!

The Farmer City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual "One and Only 5K" on October 31st. Sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyers around the school. Participants will get a medal and a t-shirt as well as 31 points of extra credit in PE! Sign up today!
