All BR Families are invited to Parent Academy/Book Fair/ Read Across America Night on March 2 at BRIJHS. The Book Fair, "Paws for Books" runs from 5:30-8:30 in the Jr. High gym. Enjoy family friendly games, a special story area, face painting, free popcorn, and more! Caregivers are also encouraged to attend Parent Academy mini-sessions from 6-8 p.m. Topics will include Internet Safety, PARCC for Parents, BR Webpage and Skyward, Coding Showcase, Title I, and How to Talk to Your High School Student. Parents will earn raffle tickets for each session attended to go toward $25 book fair vouchers. Shuttle bus service will be available for families from Bellflower Community Center at 6 p.m. and the BRHS Circle Drive at 6:20 p.m. for families who need transportation to the event.
