for Monday, August 30th

Fall Picture day will be Thursday, September 2nd district-wide.  Picture forms will be going out to the English classes next week!

 

Please register your vehicle with the office if you are a new driver or if you have switched vehicles.

 

Attention Junior class of 2023:  Please bring to the office your mum orders no later than  TODAY!!!  You can turn in your orders to the office.

 

There will be a Student Council meeting for anyone who is wanting to join Tuesday, August 31st during lunch in the library.  Please bring your lunch with you and we’ll be deciding some things that we should get working on including class officer elections and homecoming!  We hope to see you all there!

 

Are you a current FFA member or someone interested in FFA? Attend our FFA Knight on Thursday, September 2nd at 6pm in the Moore Gym! 

 

The Piatt County Toy and Gift program application form is in the office for the holidays.  This is only for students living in Piatt County.  If you are interested, the form must be postmarked by 10/31.  See the office for more details!

 

Greenville University will be here for a college visit on Wednesday Sep, 22nd at 9:00am.  Please see one of the 2 counselors for a pass to that visit.

 

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball team for going 5-0 Saturday winning the 10th annual Blue Ridge Early Bird 10 team varsity tournament.  In pool play the Lady Knights defeated Calvary Christian, Midland, Donovan and Low Point Washburn all in straight sets.  In the championship match the Lady Knights held off Judah Christian by scores winning of 25-19, 25-23 to improve to 7-0 on the season.  Congrats to Gracie Shaffer, Jaclyn Pearl and Jamie Wanserski for being selected to the 10 player all tourney team.  Jamie Wanserski set a school record with 25 service points in one match and led the team in service points on the day with 67.  Gracie Shaffer led the team in assists with 81 while Alexis Wike's 30 digs, Jaclyn Pearls 30 kills and 4 blocks also helped pace the Lady Knights on the day.  A special thanks to all the drama department for the great concessions as well as the staff, parents, and JV kids who helped make the day run smoothly.  The lady knights are back in action Tuesday vs. Greenview with a 5:30pm JV start.  Go Lady Knights!

TONIGHT the Girls Golf team competes in a tri-match at Home at Woodlawn at 4pm.
