It’s HOMECOMING Week! The theme of Homecoming is “Creeping it Real”!
Congratulations to the 2021 King and Queen: Payton Burns and Hank Mitchell
Homecoming Parade. Line-up begins at 5pm. Check in at the table in front of the high school by the circle drive. Parade begins at 6pm. If there is precipitation at line-up time the parade will be cancelled.
Thursday dress up day is Halloween costumes.
Hall decorations. Bring your own supplies. Stay in your own grade level area. There is to be no traveling to other grade level halls. If you are not decorating you are to stay in class.
Sign-ups for Homecoming games are on the bulletin board in the commons. We need participants from each class to sign up. Ask any cheerleader for details. Get those teams together and get your names on the board!!
Homecoming Dance Sign up sheet is available in the office! The dance is only for Blue Ridge students on October 16th in the old gym.
" The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting Thursday during lunch! Come join us for snacks and a movie. Bring your lunch to Mr. Minteer's room to join! All are welcome!
Today there will be a mandatory girls basketball meeting for any girl wishing to play this season. It will be right after school in the gym.
The next FFA meeting will be October 26th with our Trick or Treat for Hunger going from 4-6 pm, Committees at 6:30pm and the Chapter meeting at 7pm. Wear a costume for the costume contest.
For anyone interested in scholastic bowl, schedules are out. Come see Coach Miles.
Other college visits that have been scheduled are: Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing will be here for a college visit on October 18th at 1:00pm, and ISU will be here on 10/27 at 12:50 right after lunch. See Ms. Hieronymus or Ms. Clayton for a pass to attend the Nursing college visit.
After school detentions this week are with Mr. Decker. Lunch detentions Tuesday with Mr. Minteer in his room.
Today’s lunch is Spaghetti w/garlic bread or Pretzel/cheese.
