If you are bringing a guest to the Homecoming dance on September 3rd, the forms are now available in the office.
Homecoming float building will begin TODAY after school with each class going to their designated building areas after school and on weekends. Talk to your class officers for the information.
TODAY during lunch there will be a meeting for all FFA members interested in competing in contests. FFA Night is September 14th this year., if you're in an ag class come to the Ag Room at 6 pm on September 14th for a cookout and activity to kick off the new year.
Hey Knights! Are you looking to find fame and glory? Do you want to try something new with potential friends?! Then come check out the Dungeons and Dragons Club this Friday in Mr. Minteer's room, room 207. The meeting will be after school from 3:15 - 4 pm. Whether you have played before or just want to see what it's all about, stop by this Friday after school, 3:15 - 4 pm!
Murder. Mayhem. Madness. Join Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson as they attempt to solve their most important case yet. Who did it? Lizzie Borden? George Washington? Marilyn Monroe? Or Dracula? Surely it couldn’t have been Queen Victoria or Emily Dickinson! Auditions for the Secret Case of Sherlock Holmes are TODAY and THURSDAY from 3:30-6:00pm in the library. No experience needed. See Ms. Yeagle if you are interested but can’t make it to auditions! Join theatre today!
Homecoming kick off is this Sunday Aug 28th and following coronation at 5:30 the Boosters are bringing back the games at 6pm! We will kick off with the Mr. and Mrs. Cool, then Girls Powder Puff and wrapping up the evening with a boys Macho Volleyball!! Those interested in competing in any of the three games will need to sign up no later than tomorrow at 3 pm . The sheets are in the commons on a table under the TV screen to sign up. We will draw the Mr. and Mrs. Cool participants Friday morning so you can prepare, 1 girl and 1 boy from each class will square off to be Mr. and Mrs. Cool 2022! We will also announce the schedule class vs class Friday for powder puff and macho volleyball so please sign up if you are playing either in the office no later than 3 pm on Thursday! Come on out and have a great time!
The Snack Shack is officially open!!!!! Everything's a dollar or less. Come to room 212 during passing periods or any time the door is open and help support our life skills class. Please do not come in for snacks when the door is closed.
Attention students: the North unit office door is not an entrance for students during any part of the day and also remember DO NOT open any of our doors for ANYONE during school hours!
If you haven’t turned in your car or truck registration yet and you want your vehicle to be decorated for homecoming…. This is your last call! Get the information to the office within the next couple of days!
Congrats to the Varsity and JV volleyball teams on their wins at Iroquois West Monday night to start their seasons at 1-0. The varsity won by set scores of 25-11, 25-18 while the jv won in three sets to avenge a three set loss to the raiders last year. Leading the varsity was Gracie Shaffer with 10 assists and a block followed by Phoebe Reynolds with 9 kills and 2 aces and Madi Wingert with 13 service pts. The lady knights are back in action Thursday with their home opener vs. Ridgeview. Go Knights!
