CONGRATULATIONS to the Junior class for their winning Homecoming Float! 2nd place was the Sophomores, 3rd place Seniors and 4th place the Freshman. You all did a great job and what a presence we had for the parade with over 35 entries! Next up is Friday night introductions of the class attendents and King and Queen on the football field before the Homecoming game at 6:30pm. Stop in and see the final look at the class floats by the concession stand as well.
If you weren't at picture night for your sport and would like a photo to be given to your grandparents, see Ms. Thacker by Monday in your uniform.
Today and Friday will be signups for the Homecoming dance during lunch. Admission will be $3 for a single and $5 for a couple. The dance will be from 7-10pm on Saturday in the old gym.
Anyone is invited to check out the Dungeons and Dragons Club this Friday in Mr. Minteer's room, room 207. The meeting will be after school from 3:15 - 4 pm. Whether you have played before or just want to see what it's all about, stop by this Friday after school, 3:15 - 4 pm!

If you're looking for a community of people who will encourage and challenge you as you walk through life, come check out "Thrive". Thrive is a place to grow in community as you grow in your faith and it is open to everyone! We'll meet next Thursday at lunch in Mr. Minteer's room starting next week. Lunch will be provided! Don't just get through your day, try to Thrive!
Upcoming college visit dates to remember: September 7 Eastern Illinois University @ 2:30pm, September 8 University of Illinois @ 10:00am and September 13th Bradley University @ 9:30am. Also the Army will be here on September 6th during lunch.
FFA Night is September 14th this year., if you're in an ag class come to the Ag Room at 6 pm on September 14th for a cookout and activity to kick off the new year.
It’s Golf senior night and grandparent’s night TONIGHT! We will recognize seniors after the match at Woodlawn. Everyone is invited out for the festivities.
