for Monday, September 12th   

If you did not return your chrome book in May, before school was out, you have until the end of this week to turn the chrome book back into Mr. Kramer or you will be charged.  We’re finding that some students have 2 computers and you should only have 1 and we know who you are!  If you have any questions, please let Mr. Kramer know.

Tomorrow September 13th Bradley University @ 9:30am.   Please get passes from Ms. Hieronymus or Ms. Clayton.

 

The Art Club is looking for 3-4 people that are interested in taking a leadership role in the art club!  There will be a meeting after school Wednesday, 8/14 in the art room for planning the projects for the year, as well as the afternoon before regular Art Club days for set up.  Are you interested in applying? Email Mrs. Ramirez.

The Knight Buddies program is back!  If you would like to sign up to be a Knight Buddy with Schneider students, please go to the Counseling Google Classroom page to get all of the information.  Applications are due TODAY!

 

Wednesday FFA members traveled to Sullivan and competed in the Section 16 Horse Judging contest. The High School team took 6th overall and out of 120 individuals Mercedes Manual took 3rd overall earning a spot in the top 10. Other team members include Olivia Hammer, Kaleb Southern, Rachel Light, Lori Weiss, and Lillian Enger.

 

FFA Night is September 14th!  This year if you're in an ag class come to the Ag Room at 6 pm on September 14th for a cookout and activity to kick off the new year. 

 

The Blue Ridge Varsity Golf team hosted a nine team invitational Saturday at Woodlawn Country Club.  Even though we did not have the outcome we wanted, many golfers shot their best of the season.  Leading our boys was Gavin Friel, followed by Mason Bradford and Caden Kimball.  Keep up the good work, boys!

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball team for going 3 and 2 on the day and placed 4th out of 12 teams competing at the 12 team LSA invite.  In pool play the knights defeated Deland-Weldon by set scores of 25-9, 25-15, Meridian 25-27, 25-20, 15-13 and Eisenhower 26-16, 25-13.  In the afternoon the Lady Knights came up short vs. Okaw Valley 20-25, 21-25 and Meridian 20-25, 14-25.  Leading the Knights was Gracie Shaffer with 88 assists followed by Phoebe Reynolds with 61 kills and Alexis Wike with 33 digs an 16 aces.  The Knights are now 11-4.  Phoebe Reynolds and Alexis Wike were named to the 10 team all tourney team.
