Student Council will be having their Christmas meeting on Tuesday in the library during lunch.  Please bring a pen with you to the meeting.


The next FFA Meeting is this Thursday with committees at 6:30 and chapter meeting at 7 pm. Stay tuned for more information about the meeting.

The Christmas Holiday Band concert is Tuesday at 7pm in the old gym.  Come and listen to some great holiday music!


1st semester finals begin on 12/16 and continue 12/19 and 12/20!  Holiday break starts 12/21 thru 1/3.  We’ll be back in the new year on January 4th !


FFA members traveled to Taylorville last Wednesday for Job Interview and the results are finally in. In the JV Division, Lori Weiss placed 3rd overall and Ava Paullin placed 8th overall. In the Varsity Division, Lillian Enger placed 9th overall and Kaleb Southern placed 13th overall.


Saturday Blue Ridge FFA Members competed in State Agronomy and State Dairy Foods. The Agronomy Team consisted of Gavin Friel, Lori Weiss, and Drake Hardesty. Gavin was the top scoring team member. The Dairy Foods Team consisted of Brenna Friel, Lillian Enger, Rachel Light, Presley Hardesty, and Ava Paullin. They placed in the top 10 in the state placing 9th overall as a team and Brenna placed 8th overall individually- CONGRATULATIONS! 


On Saturday at the 8 team Roanoke-Benson JV tourney the JV scholastic bowl team defeated St. Bede and lost several close matches on the day.  Indra Nolan led the Knights in scoring with 27 toss-ups followed by Austin Wike with 7, and Brodie Soliday with 5.  Ivy Whitehouse and Taylyn Watterson contributed on many bonus parts.
