Congratulations to the January Athletes of the Month!

Boys Basketball- Isaac Price finished the 2022 calendar year putting up his career high 24 points against Grace Christian and he continued that production for the whole month of January. Isaac led the team in scoring and rebounds at 9.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game respectively. Isaac was also a major factor in the Knights best win of the season against Cumberland. Keep up the good work Isaac!

Girls Basketball- Mercedes Manuel.  Cede leads our team in rebounds and has a very strong work ethic.  She continues to grow as a player and an individual.

Cheer- Rylee Burnett.  Rylee is a leader and a role model for our team! She always puts the needs of the team first. Rylee goes above and beyond to make sure every girl on the team feels comfortable and supported.

Scholastic Bowl- Alexis Wike.  Alexis has been a 4 year scholastic bowler and continues to improve throughout the year and matches she is able to attend.  Alexis displays that experience in conference matches lately. She regularly answers most questions correctly at practice.  We look for her contributions at the varsity level with some high leverage matches and tournaments still to come.

Thursday night in LPC scholastic bowl action the varsity split a pair going 1-1 on the evening losing to Cumberland and then rebounded to defeat Tri-County convincingly pushing their overall record to 21-9 and (7-2) in the LPC.  The JV lost a close match to Cumberland by only 20 pts.  Leading the varsity in toss-ups was Indra Nolan with 9 toss-ups followed by AJ Johnson with 8, Alexis Wike with 3 and Devin Wrestler with 2.  Ben Manuel led the JV scoring attack with 3 toss-ups.  Go Knights!
