HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

for Tuesday, April 2nd         

 

TONIGHT from 5:30-7pm will be color guard auditions. You do not have to have been to a clinic to attend.   

The local scholarship applications packets are in Mrs. Whitehouse's office.  All seniors are encouraged to pick them up and get started.  All applications in the packet are due by Wednesday at noon.  You may turn in your applications as you finish them.  

There will be a Prom Committee meeting Thursday during lunch in Mrs. Lagle’s room. 

The following students have coupons for tuxedo rentals @ Men's Wearhouse - Brenden Flannell, Brady Masengale, Luke Nichols, and Zach Stephens.  Please see them for the coupons!

Seniors:  Please bring your baby pictures for the graduation slideshow.  If you do not have your senior pics by then we would still like your other pics and baby pics.  Last day to accept senior pics is May 1st.  Digital photos are best.  Send them to athacker@blueridge18.org  If you don't have digital, bring them in and we can scan them and return them to you.

Students who have read four books on the Read for a Lifetime list need to contact Mrs. Raines or Ms. Brokaw by April 10th.

Spring sports photos will be on April 10th and 11th.  All photos will be in the practice field behind the school on:  April 10th:  3:30 Varsity Baseball   3:45 Varsity and JV Softball 4:15 Girls & Boys Track            April 11th:      3:30 JV Baseball

 

It’s a Flashlight Egg Hunt at Victory Christian church on April 13th with a Wiener Roast at 6pm and Egg Hunt at 7pm!  Bring your jackets, flashlights and friends for a great time!

Farmer City Baseball is sponsoring a Monical’s Pizza Community Day.  Monical’s will donate 20% of your bill to Farmer City Baseball on Tuesday, April 23rd.  This would be valid at any Gibson City, Mahomet or Clinton location!  Come out and join us for a worthwhile cause!  Forms are in the office.

Attention Seniors:  please come to the office and pick up your fall and winter sports emblems he power poles down John street.

Today the Boys and Girls Track Team compete at Arthur-Lovington High School beginning at

4:00; and Varsity Baseball Team plays Le Roy at HOME beginning at 4:30. Good Luck Knights!

Teachers:  please dismiss both the boys and girls track teams at 2:10 for their track meet.

 

After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Givens.  Tuesday’s lunch detentions are in the office.
