HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Monday, August 26th
If you drive and park on John Street, it’s back in parking only and student vehicle parking is west of the band trailer. The east side is teacher parking only!
If you have a different vehicle or are a new driver, please see the office and register your vehicle!
The first Student Council meeting for this year will be TUESDAY during lunch in Ms. Loop's room. Current members and any other student who wishes to join Student Council should attend. Freshmen are cordially invited to join the group.
Any student who wishes to run for class officer...President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer...should see Ms. Loop by TOMORROW. Elections will be held the beginning of September. Officers will be responsible for Homecoming preparations and organizing class fundraisers.
FFA night will be held on Tuesday, August 27th at 6pm in the Ag room. If you are interested in joining the Blue Ridge FFA, please come and see what it’s all about! Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided. Please bring a dish to share with the group!
Ms. Thacker is selling water in her classroom this year for $1. Proceeds benefit the new student of the month program.
Auditions for “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” will be held this Thursday and Friday after school in the library. If you would like to be involved and can't make it to auditions, talk to Miss Yeagle as soon as possible!
Yearbooks are in!! You can get them before school from 8:00-8:20 or after school from 3:00-3:15 in Ms. Thacker’s room.
The Concession stand in the Commons during lunch will be OPEN for Ala Carte items TODAY!
Volleyball Team opens the season at HOME TONIGHT as they play Iroquois West with the Junior
Varsity beginning at 5:30 and the Varsity shortly after. Come and support your volleyball teams!
Today’s lunch menu is: Cheeseburger or Pork Fritter, Green Beans, French Fries, Pineapple and Brownie, Juice and Milk ------ Please bring your student ID with you to scan in the lunch line!
