Financial Aid Night is TONIGHT in the BRHS Commons from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Parkland Financial Aid Experts will explain the ins and out of applying for all kinds of financial aid for college. Even if your plans are uncertain, you are strongly encouraged to attend. Senior parents and senior students are encouraged to come together!
Thinking about a hands-on career? Parkland College is having a Career Exploration Night on September 4 from 4-6 pm. Meet local employers, get expert advice on your career path, and tour their high-tech labs. If you are interested in horticulture, collision repair, construction management, electronics, diesel power, automotive, industrial technology, agriculture or welding, check it out. A Jostens rep will be at BRHS TODAY during LUNCH to take all class ring orders If you didn’t get a packet, there are extra packets in the office. Also new this year, Jostens will be taking Letter Jacket orders for all students. Please remember to bring any patches you wish to have put on your jacket for no extra charge. The Jostens rep will have sample-sizing jackets to find your size.
There will be a meeting for Student Council members Thursday at lunch in Ms. Loop's room 208.
If you did not get a chrome book case at the beginning of the year, we now have them available! Please come down to Mr. Kramer’s office to get one for your chrome book!
Key Club will be having a meeting on Friday during lunch in Mrs. Davis' room. We have several great activities already planned. Come join us and give us some new ideas!
The Farmer City Haunted Forest is looking for volunteers for their 2-weekend event this year: October 18th and 19th and October 26th and 27th. There are lots of ways to be involved and earn community service hours and a great group project to help with in the community! Attention College-Bound Juniors and Seniors: Many universities have open houses and visit days on Saturdays and days that we do not have school. Plan ahead and use your days off wisely! There are many opportunities on Oct 11th and Oct 14th!

In Soccer news: Blue Ridge defeated Olympia last night 11 to 1.
1st half scoring was Victor Reynolds with 2 goals, Brendan Flannell with 3 goals, Hank Mitchell with 1 goal, Austin Hobbs with 1 goal, Mitchell Houser with 2 goals and
Jacy Dean with 1 goal. All goals were unassisted.
2nd half was Cameron Phillips with 1 goal that was unassisted. Abby Bolen had 0 Saves.
Blue Ridge is now 4-0 on the season. Way to go Knights!
TODAY the Girls Golf team plays at Fieldcrest High School, Tee Time is 4:00. Teachers, please dismiss the Girls Golf team at 2:50 today.
Also TONIGHT, the Soccer Team plays Bismarck-Henning at HOME beginning at 4:30. Go Knights!
