HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please turn in the Evacuation Drill form to the office today!

Attention Drivers Ed students:  Mr. Duke is at a conference today and is not at school.  If you have him for driving, please go to your study hall instead for today only.

Blue Ridge FFA has pumpkins for sale in the Ag Room! We have a few smaller ones for $3 and many large ones for $5. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th so get them while they are here! 

Any student interested in a career in computer science and cyber security should see Mrs. Whitehouse for information about an awesome workshop on Saturday, October 19th.

EIU will be visiting Tuesday, October 8th during seventh hour, please see Mrs. Coy or Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass if you are interested in attending. 

We hope everyone enjoyed Homecoming Week!  The Seniors WON the Spirit Trophy and the week ended with the Homecoming Dance!  Thank you to everyone that participated and made it more fun!

The cheer coach and cheerleaders would like to thank everyone for their school spirit and support last week during all of the homecoming festivities. And especially to the football boys who did so well and gave their all during the cheer dance.

Farmer City Baseball is having a community day at Monical’s Pizza next Monday, October 14th.  Monical’s will donate 20% or your bill to the organization.  Flyers are in the office if you need one!

The Farmer City Haunted Forest will be carving pumpkins on three different days and we invite you to help us!  

Dates are: October 15th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 16th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 17th  - Starting at 4:30 p.m.

Congrats to the JV Volleyball team for going 4-0 Saturday to capture the Judah Christian JV tourney championship.  The Knights started off defeating the host Tribe in 3 sets then defeated Westville and Arcola in pool play in straight sets.  In the championship match, the Lady Knights defeated Centennial to capture the championship.  Way to go Lady Knights!

 

The Boys Golf team is competing in Regional play today at Harrison Park.

 

Today the Volleyball team begins playing in the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament at HOME as they play Decatur Lutheran at 5:00 and Villa Grove at 7:00. Go Knights!

The Soccer team plays Monticello at 4:30 today.  Teachers, please dismiss the Soccer players at 2:45 today.
