HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

for Wednesday, October 9th

 

Blue Ridge FFA has pumpkins for sale in the Ag Room! We have a few smaller ones for $3 and many large ones for $5. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th so get them while they are here! 

There will be a cheer meeting today during lunch at 12:30 in the new gym.

Any student interested in a career in computer science and cyber security should see Mrs. Whitehouse for information about an awesome workshop on Saturday, October 19th.

Farmer City Baseball is having a community day at Monical’s Pizza next Monday, October 14th.  Monical’s will donate 20% or your bill to the organization.  Flyers are in the office if you need one!

The Farmer City Haunted Forest will be carving pumpkins on three different days and we invite you to help us!  Dates are: October 15th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 16th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 17th  - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

Congrats to the Varsity volleyball team for defeating Arcola in straight sets last night at Oakland 25-12, 25-18 to improve their overall record to 24-6.  Leading the knights was Nadia Beadle with 11 kills and 9 digs followed by Gracie Shaffer's 22 assists, Jenna Mozingo's 11 digs and Georgia Manuel's 10 digs.  The Lady Knights are back in action Thursday at 5pm vs. ALAH for the consolation championship in the Lincoln Prairie Conference.  Go Knights!

Today the Soccer team plays Fisher at HOME beginning at 4:30. Go Knights!

After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Davis.
