BRHS DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Thursday, February 6th
There will be an International Club meeting in Ms. Loop’s room TODAY during lunch.
The Venus & Mars Ladies Choice dance on Saturday, February 15th from 7:00-10:00 pm in the Old Gym. Tickets will be sold during lunch next week in the Commons. Ticket prices will be $4 in advance or $5 at the door. A Venus & Mars contest will be held. Voting will take place next week during lunch. Votes cost 5 cents each. Winners of the contest will be crowned at the dance. Students who wish to participate in the contest should see Ms. Loop. Guest Dance forms are available in the office!
Key Club is sponsoring a “Keep Warm Drive”. Bring your donations of new hats, gloves, scarves, or socks to the library now and the entire month of February. If you donate items, you can receive $1 off your library fines! What a DEAL!!
The next FFA Meeting is Monday February 10th with committees at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7pm.
Freshman Orientation will be on February 12th during the school day. A parent meeting will be held in the evening at 7pm in the Commons.
Local Scholarship packets are available for BRHS seniors! All local scholarships are due by April 1st. Packets can be picked up in English classrooms, the Counseling office, and the main office.
Key Club is having a Pet Contest in February! Bring in a picture of your pet as soon as possible to Mrs. Davis’s room to win $10 to the Snack Shack! Help us bring awareness to animals in need! This contest will be from Feb. 18th – Feb. 20th. Voting is free and will take place during lunch.
We will have a Teacher’s Institute Day Next Friday, February 14th and NO SCHOOL on Monday, Feb. 17th!
FFA Week will be the last week of February and we will begin the week with a 2:20 Schedule with an ALL School Assembly after 2:20 in the New Gym.
The Knight to Remember Talent Show and meal will be held on Friday, February 28th here at the school.
Today the Girls Basketball team plays Tri-County at HOME beginning at 6:00. It is also Senior Night, so come out and show your support to our girls. The dress theme for the night is Blackout! Go Knights!
After school detentions today is with Mrs. Ringel. Lunch hour detentions are with Mrs. Whitehouse on TODAY.
