TODAY is the final day of FFA Week! Blue and Gold is the dress theme and the ever popular FFA Barnyard (petting zoo) will be taking place in the ag shop.
The Knight to Remember Talent show and dinner is TONIGHT at the high school. Dinner is from 5:00 – 7pm in the new gym. The Talent Show starts at 7:15 in the Old Gym. Tickets are required but also can be purchased at the door! Come out and see your peers perform!
Key Club meeting is cancelled for today. Plan on meeting next Friday, March 5th.
There will be an NHS meeting TODAY during lunch in room 103.
TODAY is the last day to donate to the Stay Warm Drive. Key Club thanks all of you for your generosity.
There will be a meeting for all football players or interested students who might want to play next year on Saturday 2-29 at 10am and to come to weight room doors.
There will be no lifting for Boys Track or Football on Monday in the morning or afternoon.
Attention all cheerleaders: end of season meeting will be Tuesday, March 3 during lunch in the district conference room. You will also need to turn in your CLEAN uniforms and poms. Pizza will be served, please bring $3/each.
Representatives from Bradley University in Peoria will be coming to visit Tuesday March 3rd during 6th hour to talk about their college programs and campus, please see Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass if you would like to attend.
There will be mandatory scholastic bowl practices during lunch in the chem lab next week on Tuesday and Thursday.
The varsity scholastic bowl team went 1-1 last night losing to Okaw Valley 250-290 then rebounded to defeat Cumberland 400-160 to to push their overall record to 40-16 and 10-3 in LPC play. Leading the knights in toss-ups was Nadia Beadle with 11 followed by Sami Boogren and Hutch Partlow with 3, Josephine Aldrich and Mitchell Houser with 2 and Abby Johnson with 1. The varsity knights are back in action tomorrow morning hosting the 14 school Lincoln Prairie Conference Tourney starting at 9 am. Go Knights!
Seniors: you will be getting a sheet to write your senior quote on in English. Please return this to Ms. Thacker by Friday Mar. 6.
The next blood drive will be on Thursday, March 5. Key Club sign up during lunch this week to donate.
Local Scholarship packets are available for BRHS seniors! All local scholarships are due by April 1st. Packets can be picked up in English classrooms, the Counseling office or the main office.
Attention Seniors: Yearbook will need 2 baby pics, 2 other pics of you growing up and 2 senior photos by April 1. If you can't get your senior pics by then, we still need the others. Last day to accept senior photos will be May 1.
Lunch menu for today is: Cheese Pizza and opened face roast beef sandwiches.
The Commons concession stand will not be open today during lunch.
