HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

For Wednesday, September 5th

Good Morning!

Attention all Freshman and Junior Golfers: please meet the trainer right after school TODAY to do your concussion testing.

2017-2018 Yearbooks will be handed out during lunch on THURSDAY in the Commons.

Attention Seniors!  The Jostens rep will be back at the high school TODAY at lunch for your Graduation orders.  Please bring a $60 down payment or check your packet for 3 payment options.  Make it easy and order the Knight Pack!  You can contact the Jostens rep with any questions.

If you drive to school, please stop by the office and register your car with the office.  Homecoming is coming up and you don’t want to miss out on the activities with your vehicles.

The first HS book club will meet in the library during lunch on September 13th. Bring your lunch and discuss your latest read.

David’s Bridal is offering $30 off coupons for Homecoming dresses.  Coupons are in the office if you are interested.

With the start of the 2018-2019 school year underway the “We are more campaign” is reminding us all to make the most of this new school year. “New Beginnings, New Boundaries” Reminding everyone that it’s never too late to make a fresh start and improve our lives!! Here’s to a great new school year!!

THURSDAY is Kade’s Krew t-shirt day! Please wear your t-shirts in support of Kade!

Please bring your student ID’s with you to scan during lunch!  Your older lunch cards will still work for scanning.  Your lunch ladies appreciate it!

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball team for defeating Chrisman last night 25-22, 26-24 to improve to 10-1 overall.  Blue Ridge also won the JV contest 25-15, 25-23.  Leading the Lady Varsity Knights was Avery Fisher with 14 assists followed by Polly Reynolds with 8 kills and 2 blocks, Hannah Brackenhoff with 9 digs and Carly Ester with 2 aces.  Way to go Knights!

In Soccer last night, Judah beat BRHS 2 to 0.  Bradley Flannell had 12 saves in the night.

Today the Soccer Team plays at St. Thomas More beginning at 4:30. Teachers: please dismiss the soccer players at 2:50 TODAY with the bus leaving at 3pm for game at St Thomas More.  Go Knights!

After school detentions this week are with Ms. Thacker in room 214.  Lunch detention on Thursday are with Mrs. Wieber in her room.

Today’s lunch menu is:  Spaghetti w/Garlic Stick or Chicken Patty w/ Oven Fries, Cauliflower w/Ranch dip, Juice and Milk
