We have Dewey’s job applications in the office! Please bring them filled out to the office by TODAY!
The next Color Guard clinic will be on Monday, March 11th from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Auditions for the team are March 19th from 5:30-7pm. Talk to any current guard member or Ms. Meisner for more information.
Students: please remember to park in designated parking spaces for students. On the North side of the building, please park west of the Band Trailer.
Any Junior or Senior boy that is interested in earning a FREE tux rental from Men's Wearhouse should see Mrs. Lagle to sign up to be a Prom Rep.
The Fine Arts Expo will be on Tuesday with Artwork being displayed in the halls beginning at
6:00pm. The Concert will be in the Old Gym at 7:00.
Are you interested in a career in a trade union? On Thursday, March 14th, during 6th and 7th hour there will be a presentation about trade union career opportunities from the East Central Illinois Construction Trades Association. Any students who have not already signed up with Mr. Seneca are welcome to sign up with either Mr. Seneca or Mrs. Whitehouse by March 13th.
Attention Seniors: We’re preparing for the graduation slideshow and we are needing 2 senior pictures, 2 baby pictures and 2 other pictures of you growing up by Apr. 1st. If you don't have your senior pics by then we would still like your other pics and baby pics by then. Last day to accept senior pics is May 1. Digital photos are best. Send them to athacker@blueridge18.org If you don't have digital, bring them in and we can scan them and return them.
The HS Boosters Cash Bash is Saturday at the Farmer City Legion.
The Freshman Class of 2022 is hosting a fundraiser Breakfast at the Mansfield Legion on March 16th from 7-10am. Tickets are $5 each. The menu is Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy. Come on out and support the Freshman class!
Last night FFA members had a long night at District 4 Proficiencies with their SAEs. Members competing was Megan Schumacher in Safety, Jaton Shaffer in Ag Sales, and Wyatt Summers in Outdoor Recreation and 8th grader Kaleb Southern was the Discovery winner. Jaton Shaffer was top 4 in his area, Wyatt Summers was runner up, and Megan was first in Safety. Megan will be competing at State on March 23rd. Congratulations to you all!
In other March upcoming dates:
· End of the 3rd quarter is on March 15th.
· Report cards go home on March 22nd with early dismissal that day at 2:20.
· Spring Break is March 25 – March 29. We’ll come back to school on Monday, April 1st.
