School yearbooks are on sale now for $55 each  at www.jostensyearbooks.com

Attention Juniors and Seniors:   Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold during lunch in the Commons now through May 3rd.  If you are not here during lunch please see Ms. Lagle before or after school.  Prom tickets cost $20 each and Post Prom tickets cost $10 each. Tickets must be purchased in advance.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR! If you are taking an underclassman or non-Blue Ridge guest, forms must be approved BEFORE you purchase tickets.  Guest forms are due by Monday, April 22 and available in the office.  Also, if you are taking an underclassmen BRHS student be sure you get that form as well.

Art Club will meet on Wednesday April 24th in the art room after school, be sure to pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Ramirez. 

On Saturday, 4/27 the Garden Club will have a work day in the square.  We start at 9am.  Any help would be appreciated.

Students, if you are walking by a door to the building, please DO NOT OPEN the door!  The office will take care of it.  This is for everyone’s safety!  Thank you.

There is a summer reading program available in the office for 9th and 10th graders.  Please see the form in the office if you are interested.

 

Boys Track and Field participated in the Tiger Invitational last night coming away with a 3rd place finish out of a field of 7 teams.  The Knights were led by Matt Schumacher with two first place finishes in the shot put and discus. Cole Pemble contributed a first place in the long jump.  These athletes set personal records last night: Joey Cole, Tommi Passero, Elias Nolan, Jan Saez, Apollo Gannaway and Peyton Roy.  Great Job Knights!

Congrats to the Lady Knights track and field team for winning the Westville Invite last night, becoming champions in back to back years by the slimmest margin! Every point counts! Lots of eye opening placements, PR's and individual performances tonight that added up to another meet victory. Indra Nolan won the discus with a PR throw of 26 plus meters followed by a first in the 800 by Jasmine Petmecky with a PR time. Lexi Winstead continued her dominance in the sprint winning the 100 and placing 2nd in the 200 with a PR time in the 27's!. Lexi also had a career PR in the HJ at 4'8"! The 4x400 team of Vivian Danner-Duncan, Karly Warner, Cede Manuel and Kelly Weiss also placed 1st. Other notable PR's included Cede Manuel in the 400 and HJ, Ariahna Brown in the 200, Indra Nolan in the 800, Kelly Weiss in the 1600, Jasmine Petmecky in the 1600, Ava Hammer in the 300IH, Taylyn Watterson in the LJ and Karly Warner in the discus. Go Knights!

 

Softball competes at home tonight at 4:20 vs. Delavan and it’s Senior Night!  We’ll also celebrate girls track Senior night at the softball field at 4:20.

Baseball competes away tonight vs. Sullivan at 4:30 with release time of 2:05.
