This is a quick reminder that all schools in the district will have an early dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16th, at 1:30 PM. This early release provides dedicated time for our educators to participate in professional development and collaborate across grade levels to enhance classroom instruction.
Bus Transportation: Buses will run their normal routes starting at the 1:30 PM dismissal time. Please expect your student at their stop earlier than usual.
After-School Athletics/Programs: Please check with your individual school building, sponsor or coach for adjusted afternoon schedules.

Calling all Little Knights Cheerleaders! The Blue Ridge High School Cheerleading Team will be hosting a Little "Kickin' Knights" Cheer Camp on 9/30 and 10/1 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. They will learn cheers, stunts, and will perform at the 10/2 home football game (kickoff at 6:30 PM). This is a great way to raise that Blue Ridge Spirit. The camp is open to Pre-K through 5th grade students.

Our high school soccer players love to support our youth club soccer members! To help grow the program the high school soccer players help out anyway they can and interact with the younger members. This past Saturday, four of the high school soccer team members were field judges, and line judges for the first junior high soccer game of the season. Way to go Knights!
Today, 9/14, the soccer team travels to St. Joseph - Ogden for their next high school match of the season. The next home game for the BRHS Knights will be on 9/16 at South Park at 4:30 PM vs. Decatur Eisenhower.

Homecoming activities begin 9/20 with Coronation at 6pm in Moore Gym with Powder Puff Football at 4:30 and Macho Volleyball at 7pm.
The parade will be on Friday, 9/25 at 4pm with the football game also on 9/25 at 6:30pm.
All class attendants and the Homecoming King/Queen will be announced on the football field at 6pm prior to the gametime.

Our football team has so much to be proud of tonight. Although the score doesn't reflect the effort, courage and heart our men displayed, anyone that was there will tell you that was one amazing football game. We will be back in action next Friday against Milford at home. Come out and see these tough-as-nails athletes play some football. Let's Go Knights!!
Congratulations to the BRHS Boys Golf Team for placing 2nd at today's invitational. The team had 3 top 10 finishers, with Preston Jiles placing 3rd overall, Eli Beadle placing 8th overall, and Brenden Farris placing 9th overall. Great job, Knights!

Today is a very important and somber day in American History, a day that many adults remember vividly. However, as we recognize the 25th anniversary, many high school students have limited knowledge of that day. The tragic events of 9/11 serve as an opportunity to teach current BRHS students about modern history and about our country.
Today, in Mrs. Flannell's Civics class, she talked through the major events from 9/11/2001 and the lasting impact it has had on our country to her students. We want to thank Mrs. Flannell for helping future generations remember and honor the memory of those lost on 9/11.
On Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. Ramirez and the Art Club spent some time together creating water marbled paper, a type of monoprinting. The paper will be used to make eye-catching locker name tag plates for Art Club. These locker signs help us recognize student involvement throughout the school and are made for each club, activity, and sport at BRHS. They also help to create a sense of pride for each of our students. A

The Y-Zone After School Program provides a safe, healthy environment where children can enrich their spirit, mind, and body. Available on the school district's scheduled early out days for Kindergarten through 5th grade students from 1:30–5:30 p.m., Y-Zone offers homework help, arts and crafts, exercise, character development, and, most importantly, FUN!

Mrs. Ramirez's Art 2 class has been working diligently on their chalk succulents or landscapes. They are working with a variety of techniques to blend colors and create definition on their pieces. Great job, Knights!
Witches, rumors, and hysteria galor are popping up in Mr. Stanger's junior level ELA class at BRHS. These students have been reading Arthur Miller's The Crucible aloud and acting out the scenes. Their group insights have helped to strengthen the whole groups understanding! (And so has Mr. Stanger being able to read a variety of characters in multiple voices)

The Blue Ridge 2026 Homecoming is quickly approaching and we'd like to your club or organization to be a part of it! The Homecoming parade will be held on Friday, September 25th starting at 4:00pm.
