How exciting to know that this project is in our near future AND all while we can anticipate another drop in our overall tax rate from the school district! #br_u_knighted

Our calendars have a new look! Whether you use our Blue Ridge #18 app or navigate to our website, we want to make sure you see our calendar enhancements. Parents can choose the calendar for the building(s) they are interested in and add events directly to their own calendar! Please note, we do recommend you also always view the District calendar in addition to the building calendar(s) you choose. We've included "how to" images of these changes on the FB page and district website. #br_u_knighted

The Labor Day error is now corrected in this version of the newsletter. https://5il.co/1zzkk Please take time to read, as there is important information about the potential of issuing bonds for the construction of a track at BRHS. We want you to be informed and to give us your feedback, so please watch for our next messaging about when and how to do so! #br_u_knighted

This month's newsletter from the superintendent has some important dates and a welcome to our new BRHS paraprofessional and district driver. Also, the board would like to update you about the possibility of issuing bonds for the purpose of building a track at BRHS in the next few years. There is much to discuss along those lines, so we will create a video, host an in person meeting, and send a quick follow up survey. Please be watching for that info! Here's the newsletter: https://5il.co/1zyci. #br_u_knighted

BR Parents/Guardians, during registration you will be asked to give consent for Medicaid billing. This will seem like an odd question to get during school registration, so I wanted to give you some background prior to registration when you’ll have many other things on your mind. IL school districts participate in a program that allows us to receive reimbursement for certain services that we provide to students who are Medicaid eligible, such as nursing services, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, and many other services. This school year, we are switching to a new company for the processing of those reimbursements, so ideally, we would like to obtain consent from as many families as possible, whether Medicaid eligible or not, in order to capture the maximum reimbursement for which we are eligible. Our request is for all families to give consent for us to bill Medicaid, when we ask you that question during registration. If your child is not Medicaid eligible, there is no harm in giving consent. If your child is, or may become Medicaid eligible, giving consent will have no negative impact on your level of Medicaid services received at school or outside of school. Please see the consent form that will be shared during registration: https://5il.co/1zn8n. The second page has a thorough explanation if you’d care to learn more. Thank you.
