We had our first SHIELD testing at BRHS this morning and it went very well. We did learn that it is fine to drink water during the hour before testing, but no food or other drinks, please. Thank you! #br_u_knighted

Hello! As a reminder, SHIELD testing begins this week. Tuesday- BRHS, Wednesday- BRIJHS, Thursday- Schneider. Students are asked not to eat or drink 60 minutes prior to testing, so we've selected a 9:30 start time for each building. With a few hundred to test in each building, we expect to be finished before lunch begins. Realistically, we anticipate being a little slow with this new process, but we're thankful to have it available, and we'll work to get better each week! Thank you. #br_u_knighted

This year's BRIJHS Readathon was a hit! We had so much fun celebrating the joy of reading. However, we are falling short of our goal to raise $10,000. Would you consider helping? You can make a donation at our readathon page. https://www.read-a-thon.com/school/Blue-Ridge-Intermediate-and-Junior-High_42782 We will close out donations on November 10th. All funds raised go to fun, school-wide incentives like Fall Festivals and Winter Movies and so much more! We really appreciate your help and support!! #br_u_knighted
