First graders in Miss McKeon’s class worked in groups to disguise a turkey. They had up to $10 they could spend to come up with as many different combinations of disguises as they could to save the turkey. This was a great way for students to be creative and collaborate during math!

Ella Yeadon is the 2024 Farmer City/Dewitt County Junior Miss Fair Queen. She is currently a 6th grader at Blue Ridge Junior High School. Kindergarten students celebrated Thanksgiving with two big events today - our Balloons Over Broadway parade and our Favorite Food and Friendship Feast! We are thankful for the third grade classes who helped us create our balloon floats. We are also thankful for the friendships we have made this year. Happy Thanksgiving break, Blue Ridge families!
