Mrs. Brackenhoff's first-grade class recently completed an exciting Pumpkin Exploration Project. In groups, students recorded details about their pumpkins, including size, color, and number of ribs. They also measured the height, circumference, and weight of each pumpkin. This week, the class wrapped up their exploration by cutting open the pumpkins to observe the insides and count the seeds. Students collaborated to find the best method for counting the seeds, filling the room with laughter and smiling faces. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved!
The White, Purple, and Green buses were just released to leave BRIJHS. We apologize for the delay. Keeping students safe is our highest priority and we were thankful to have Piatt County Sheriff's Department working directly with us today.
Update: White, Purple, and Green are on hold at BRIJHS after an update from Sheriff Vogelzang. He will update when we can release our buses so SWAT can do their job.
BR Parents and Guardians, a SWAT team is currently in Mansfield; a suspect has been contained. We've been given clearance that our students can be safely dismissed at this time. Thank you.
