Schneider Elementary's students and famiiles raised $17,074.85 for the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. This is a testimony to the generosity of our students, families, staff and community members. Thank you to Mr. Hanson for stewarding this great event! In addition, Schneider's P.E. department will also be receiving $1,300 to purchase P.E. equipment for our students to continue their wellness journey.
This afternoon, Blue and Red routes will be combined; arrival to home will be delayed by up to 20 minutes. The White route will be delayed both in pick up time at the school and for delivery home by up to 15 minutes. Thank you for your understanding. #br_u_knighted
The News-Gazette hosts an annual competition with local schools to involve students in the design of an ad for a local business. Then, from all the ads specifically made for them, each business selects the ads that will run in a special section of the News-Gazette in March. Our high school art students participated in this competition as a way of trying out an authentic art career possibility in the field of design. We want to congratulate all the students for their hard work and creative designs. Five Blue Ridge students were printed in the paper on Friday: Cadin Dozier, AJ Johnson, Angel Melgosa, Karly Warner, and Jasmine Petmecky. Jasmine's ad won 1st place in the High School category. CONGRATS!

Tomorrow is the Community Easter Egg Hunt held at Trinity Church in Farmer City.
