Kindergarten Registration and Orientation will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Schneider School Cafeteria, 309 N. John Street, Farmer City, Illinois. Students who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2023 are eligible for Kindergarten. Parents will need to bring an official birth certificate and two proofs of residence if your child did not attend the Blue Ridge PreK/ECSE program. Children must have a birth certificate and up-to-date physical and immunization record before entering school in the fall. These items are required before your child can attend the first day of school. Please call the Schneider Office 309-928-2611 to ask any questions. Thank you!

Blue Ridge is joining the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in the eleventh statewide survey of school climate and learning conditions. The survey provides a unique opportunity for 4th-12th grade students, teachers and parents to have a voice in improving their schools. The parent survey will remain open through March 31. You may access the parent survey here: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/ . These surveys will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation. We highly encourage all parents to make their voices heard to impact positive growth in our schools. #br_u_knighted

BRIJHS 4th graders sent birthday cards to a resident at the local senior citizens home. It was the resident's 100th bday. They decided they didn't want the other residents to be sad, so they also sent a Valentine's day card to each one of the residents. Did you know next week is Random Acts of Kindness week? BRIJHS has some fun in store to celebrate! #br_u_knighted
